This week we will be introducing our GOLD team friends from Rwanda so that you can learn a little bit about them too!
First up we have Shemsa….

Shemsa, who is 21, has been involved in Rwandan Guiding for eight years. It is her second GOLD project – she was first involved with the team in 2017.
Her proudest achievement in Guiding so far is to have set up 5 troops here in Kigali where she is also a District Commissioner.
Her favourite food has to be chocolate, pizza and chips! Outside of Guiding, Shemsa is a business woman. She sells things made in Rwanda, mostly fabrics, at a local market. This has been a great help for us – Shemsa has been telling us all of the good deals and what not to buy!
Shemsa’s favourite colour is red and her favourite animal is a cow. If she were able to travel to anywhere in the world she would like to go to Paris to learn more French, go shopping and buy lots of chocolate!
