Hi I’m Hannah,
I’m the Photo and video coordinator. I have been in guiding since I was a rainbow in Northamptonshire and am now a leader in a Guide unit in Newcastle. Outside of guiding I am a medical student at Newcastle University.
To date my mountain top moment in guiding has been going to Malawi with Midlands in 2014, however I am certain the experiences in GOLD will be even better!
I’m really excited about GOLD to Rwanda for a number of reasons. I will be thrown into a completely different culture and will get to experience this and learn what it is like first hand. I’m also looking forward to developing many life skills (such as leading large training sessions) and not forgetting the close friendships I am sure I will make along the way!
My random fact is that I’ve run a half marathon and my favourite sweet is definitely veggie Percy pigs.
